Story

Director’s Statement:

My father was a Catholic priest, and my mother was a nun.  In a Wintry Season is their story.

It’s about the shift in American culture from when Faith was once taken for granted, to it being often absent from our lives altogether, and why.  It’s about the decision to enter religious life, and the decision to leave it.

Most importantly, it’s about what we all might be looking for, and how we know when we’ve found it.

Press:

In a Wintry Season won me over with its candor, authenticity and surprises.  It’s a relatable story of two people and their family and their times, but it brings us into a meditation on what is American  Catholicism today.” -The Movie Gourmet
